Automotive FAQ's

Q: The fabric above my head is falling down. Can you re-glue or repair it?
A: Yes, but not by re-gluing or repairing it. The cloth backed foam has to be replaced. We match as close as possible to your visors.

Q: My carpet is badly worn and soiled, faded or smells bad. Can you replace it?
A: Yes. Car, van, motor-home or boat, we have a large selection of carpets to match or exceed the quality currently in your vehicle. Every imaginable color available too!

Q: My car is brand new and I had a mishap on the seat covers. Can you repair it?
A: Yes. We have a file of Detroit Fabric books from 1983 to current. These allow us to match fabric numbers to your make and model ensuring an exact fabric match for the needed repairs or replacement. we also do complete custom interiors on any vehicle and can give the factory look too.

Q: Do you recover motorhome seat covers?
A: Yes. We once again can give you opportunities to bring your coach on wheels up to date with a change of fabrics and a style to your liking in a timely manner.

Q: I have a camper motorhome that needs the cushions covered and the foam is dry rotting. Can you help me?
A: Yes. We can recover your cushion with vinyl on one side for those days of a possible mess happening and a nylon cloth for the more comfort mode days of playing cards. With a camper out in the woods, these materials are needed to hold up to the elements. A good high density foam with a poly batting will ensure comfort and durability for a small investment.

Q: My convertible top has a hole in it, or someone cut it to get in it. Can you repair it or replace it?
A: Yes. 9 times out of 10, a repaired top is nothing like a new one expertly installed with a 5 year warranty to boot. This also gives you an opportunity to change colors or upgrade to a custom fabric top. We will also fit your car with a matching convertible boot (the covering over your top when it is down). Also at this time you may be advised to replace the weather stripping around your top above the side windows. This operation ensures you a water/air tight fit all around. After all, what creates more value on a convertible than a new top with a factory look?

Q: Do you replace vinyl tops to match my old one?
A: Yes. Many of those old patterned vinyls are still available single or double seam with a rainbow of colors to match or off-set the color of your car. This really creates added value to your vintage car with a factory look.

Q: I would like to put a vinyl top on my car that gives it a look of a convertible. Do you sell and install them?
A: Yes. There are full and 1/2 tops available. These installations are completed by an experienced craftsman. Cloths with a huge variety of colors are are available along with chrome or gold trim and emblems to achieve the look you are striving for. This not only gives your car a good look, but a significant increase in value with the factory look. Best on full sized cars.

Q: In the winter I leave my vehicle outside. I have a remote start, but the leather seats remain cold. Do you install seat heaters?
A: Yes. We offer 3 different options. You choose what option that fits your needs. All are professionally installed with a factory look. This is another way to add comfort and value to your car, van or truck.
